Professor Dr. Udo Bechtloff was elected as the new chairman of the PCB Group at Central Association of the PCB and Electronic Systems (ZVEI). He succeeds Dr. Marc Schweizer, who is no longer available for re-election.

Dr. Bechtloff holds a doctorate in electrical engineering, and has been an active member of the Advisory Board in ZVEI for over 10 years. He brings to the new position a wide experience in the field of semiconductor and printed circuit board technology.

In a statement, Dr. Bechtloff said he will continue to help Germany's PCB manufacturing become globally competitive.
